According to the tweet, 50.95 crore PAN have been allotted till 29 June.
If not done then the link will be inactive -According to the Income Tax Department, if PAN is not added to Aadhaar within the stipulated period, it will become inactive. According to this, 57 percent of the units filing income tax returns are such, whose income is less than 2.5 lakh rupees. According to the data, 18 percent of those who fill their income are 2.5 to 5 lakh rupees, 17 percent of the income of 5 lakh rupees to 10 lakh rupees and seven percent of the income is between 10 lakh rupees to 50 lakh rupees. Only one percent of those who file income tax returns show their income more than Rs 50 lakh.
18 crore people are left 7 months of deferment – Statistics released by the central government show that about 18 crore PAN cards of the country are not linked to Aadhaar. How to link PAN with Aadhaar – You have to visit the site www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Here you will see the option of Link Aadhaar. Click on it. A new window will open. Fill your Aadhaar number, PAN number, name, captcha code in this window. After this, click on Link Aadhar. On clicking, your PAN card was linked to the Aadhaar card.
